Animation finals blog

This semester in animation I have worked with two things. first a bit of 3D animation then I transitioned over to more of 2D animation, mainly rotoscoping. In 3D animation we messed with mainly skeleton structures, so that way we could bring the creation to life with better movements than before. With rotoscoping I also worked on improving my skills with hat. With my first project being mediocre and then improving a bit with the second project. Here are the three projects I've done this semester and their descriptions.

    The shark animation
In this animation I used the skeleton structures to create a better moving shark than was possible without using it. It was a pretty easy process, however there was a bit of a struggle mapping out the points so that way they did not become affected through other points. This meant going into the program and messing with the streets of the joints affected movement of area. This took some time, however it helped me learn a lot and I feel that if I were to do it again I would have the knowledge to make it way more progressive than it is

    The Monster rotary
This was the first non guided project of the semester. I took an idea of mine and decided to adda sort of sketchy feel to it. I started with a base footage and then took that base footage and traced over the objects I wanted in the footage and styled it how I wanted. Then I went in and made the background and also changed some of the things up in the actual animation to make it how I wanted it. Here is the final.

       Final semester animation
This animation was a repeat of the last rotary in how I did it, however this time I added color. This project was supposed to be more of a looping animation so I went for a car driving over a seemingly endless bridge. I will add more to it on my own time such as music and more time. Here it is.
