Personal Logo

In our e-communications class we have been working on personal logos for an imaginary company. Due to the fact that my name is Mayo, I chose to do a logo for a mayonnaise company. I decided to go very simplistic with something that is creative but yet recognizable. After some brainstorming I had come up with about 30 designs. I finally settled on one and got going. Its a simple M in a cursive font surrounded by a blue circle.  Here is a picture.
As you also notice it does have a black outer rimming around the circle. I decided to not go with a completely white m due to the fact that if it was on a completely white background it wouldn't show up. So the m is more grayish than white.  You may also notice that it has a light blue background, you may be asking yourself, what is the reason behind the color? Well ill tell you, there really was no deep meaning. I simply did it because it was closely associated with mayo and the blue and white don't clash at all. I also realize that there is a lot of empty space but i think it works well. I hope you enjoy it and you never know maybe it might be my logo for my mayo company.

  6. The colors give it meaning and it is very fun to look. I think you should've kept the the logo not outlined.

  9. Sweet logo, the font of the M is really cool, the only thing you could've done would've been to add an outline to the M so you could see it better.
