Social Media Posts and the Effect

In our e-comm class we have started a new quarter. In this quarter which is quarter 2, we are jumping into animation. I am super excited. I love animation and cant wait to get started. So from now on expect posts about animations and relating topics. Now lets move on to the reason I decided to post today, or more of was forced to post by the school district. I posted because of our activities yesterday.

What we did and how it works
Yesterday we met in the ravens nest to discuss the new quarter and what we are going to be doing, in this process we had to do an activity about social media and how our posts can affect our future. This is talking about the fact that colleges before accepting you check your social media and everything thats on it, good or bad. The posts can affect what colleges accept you. They see the bad things on your social media and may not think that you are mature enough to go to their school. This may put a huge damper in your future.

                 Cleaning up the posts
You may be thinking, I am that person. Well its ok there is a solution if you are not already too old. You can scrub your social media of posts. This means that you can go through your posts and delete the inappropriate ones. Unfortunately it is the internet so there will always be ruminants but they will be harder to locate.

                    Opinions
Now the fact that colleges look at your posts is a heated debate. Some people think that it is immoral and an invasion of privacy. While some people think that it is completely necessary so that way they don't end up with a criminal going to their school without them knowing. I personally think that it should be allowed but thats me. We all have our own opinions.
