Here is my website that we had to make. It has Info about me and some of my projects. Hope you enjoy.

Here is my house animation for e-comm. I didn't get to finish it all the way, so some parts are missing.  Hope you enjoy what I did manage to finish. It was an overall a fun project, although it did have its difficulties.

   In our e-comm class we had to create a doghouse using exact measurements. As I look back I realize that the color choice was not the best and also that the dog was too big. If I went back I would change that but alas I have no time so here is the final product.

  In e-comm we started using sketchup. This is a 3d modeling program. For our first project we had to create a table and chair. It was a simple project but still enjoyable. In the end I added some shadows to make it seem more 3D.

   In class we had to create an interesting project. We had to animate a our name, but not in our normal way. We had to make it appear to be written with no one to write it. The final result I believe turned out pretty well. Go ahead and check it out.

   Today in class we worked on an interesting project. We had to make a project with words that describe us, and then have them come in to play in an animated fashion. Unlike traditional frame by frame methods, we had to have photoshop do the work for us. Here is the final result hope you enjoy.

   Today in class we learned about the animation properties of arching. So we had to combine the already known properties of squash and stretch and ease in and ease out, with the new properties of arching. Here is the final result.     As you can see the skull squashes at it hits the ground and then stretches as it increases in speed. The properties of ease in and ease out come into play with its speed and how it goes fast and also slows down. Then of course the arching comes into play with the arches themselves. The final result is the skill animation. I named it Spooky Scary in honor of halloween. Hope you enjoy.

   In e-comm we had to take the myers-briggs personality test to see what we are most like. I happened to get the personality type of ENTP. Which means that I happen to be more extravert. This means that I enjoy being around people and talking, then being alone and reading a book. I have attached the image of my results for you to see. From the results you can tell that I am a more logical person and prefer thinking instead of feeling. I also enjoy seeing proof over things instead of just speculating. Overall I think this is actually a pretty good description of me. This seems to be a pretty accurate description of who I am personality wise.    I have attached a couple of descriptions of what it means to be in the personality group of ENTP. Overall I think that they all describe me pretty well. This really helped me understand what i'm most like and it was also cool to see other popular people in history that had the same personality types as me. Some examples we...

Animation   In class we have learned about squash and stretch and ease in and ease out. You can See the squash and stretch by how the ball squashes as it lands an then stretches as it goes up and down. This also helps demonstrate speed and the affect of speed. The ease in and ease out also comes into play when the ball picks up speed and then is stopped by the ground and then reflects. I have attached the animation for you to see. The only thing about it is that its slowed down a little. This helps you see the transitions.                                                                     To Help understand      I have attached some videos to help you understand how this animation works.

      In our e-comm class we have started a new quarter. In this quarter which is quarter 2, we are jumping into animation. I am super excited. I love animation and cant wait to get started. So from now on expect posts about animations and relating topics. Now lets move on to the reason I decided to post today, or more of was forced to post by the school district. I posted because of our activities yesterday.                     What we did and how it works       Yesterday we met in the ravens nest to discuss the new quarter and what we are going to be doing, in this process we had to do an activity about social media and how our posts can affect our future. This is talking about the fact that colleges before accepting you check your social media and everything thats on it, good or bad. The posts can affect what colleges accept you. Photoshop   In e-comm we have been working with some minor photoshop. I will show you what and do a brief explanation about what was done.        What we did here was take a picture of the onw school and crop out some empty space. then we added some other designs in a low opacity.   The other project is another onw one. We took a picture of the school and added some lettering with negative space in front. The colored space is where the school colors are displayed. With this project we took a butterfly and turned its wings from orange to an array of colors. It was a fun project and pretty simple overall.    The last one i wasn't able to finish due to the fact that my program kept glitching with one of the essential tools. I did manage though to edit out the two light posts and cars. They were originally in front of the school. 

                                       Personal Logo      In our e-communications class we have been working on personal logos for an imaginary company. Due to the fact that my name is Mayo, I chose to do a logo for a mayonnaise company. I decided to go very simplistic with something that is creative but yet recognizable. After some brainstorming I had come up with about 30 designs. I finally settled on one and got going. Its a simple M in a cursive font surrounded by a blue circle.  Here is a picture.      As you also notice it does have a black outer rimming around the circle. I decided to not go with a completely white m due to the fact that if it was on a completely white background it wouldn't show up.                                                             Color and their feelings   Color is an interesting thing. First off not everyone can see color in the same way, so it is different for those people. These people are colorblind, but thats not why I am here today, I am here today to talk about the affect color have on you, or the feelings you get from looking at color. Now the colorblind topic will come into play because some people wont be able to understand this so I apologize. Now people use color mainly to sell products for different age groups. For example lighter color is used for younger age while darker colors is gauged towards a older age groups. Plus color can help represent feeling and different emotions.   Graphic Design        Graphic design is a wonderful yet mysterious thing. The reason it is so mysterious is because many things in graphic design have not been invented yet or is waiting for someone to have the idea to invent it. Although many designs haven't been made, many have and they are used in our everyday life from a road sign, to the letters on the side of a building.      Everyone relates to graphic design in one way or another. I myself relate to it i three main ways. The first way is the fact I like to create graphic images and designs. I love to have an idea of a cool image and make it come to life on an actual object. It is really satisfying for me to do this. Another way I connect to graphic design , is through images on products.
