Safety Video, Push in your chairs

    For this project, we E-comm students were tasked to make a video that could show a safety tip for the students to follow and respect. My group and I chose to make a video about pushing in your chairs. Not following this rule is a safety hazard and just overall annoying for the next person. In order to make this project a reality we had to take steps to get there. First we wrote a story board over what we want to happen in the video. Ours included a man sitting at a table who leaves and forgets to push in his chair, then another man runs up and stops him and forces him to push in his chair. After being satisfied with this we started filming. The beginning starts off with a man sitting at a table who forgets to push in his chair as he leaves after getting up. Then after he leaves a man notices that he failed to push in his chair, he chases after him and forces him to come back.  After he makes him come back and push in the chair, after a quick thanks from our sponsor the video ends. We were supposed to tell a story as well as use the 6 shot system, which i thought we did pretty well, but could use improvement. I learned many things along the way, including how to add a title to the video and also how the camera works and the 6 shot system. If I could go back and fix something it would be the footage, I would plan the shots better. I like the sponsorship in the end though so I would keep that the same. I learned valuable editing and filming lessons, that I plan to use on the next project. Finally here is the video.

Due to the fact that my name is Mayo, I chose to do a logo for a mayonnaise company. I decided to go very simplistic with something that is creative but yet recognizable. Social Media Posts and the Effect

      In our e-comm class we have started a new quarter. In this quarter which is quarter 2, we are jumping into animation. I am super excited. I love animation and cant wait to get started. So from now on expect posts about animations and relating topics. Now lets move on to the reason I decided to post today, or more of was forced to post by the school district. The Plausible impossible

    In the world of animation, there is the power to make impossible things seem very plausible. This affect is achieved by taking real world scenes and possibly scenarios and then applying unreal scenarios to them. I will explain this by using the The Mountain, by Disney studios. In this film it takes a plausible scene, such as a mountain town, and adds a very impossible theme such as gouls. In this scene you notice one blaring thing first. The noose. The noose shows that this scene is taking place in around the 1800's and based upon the town itself it is the late 1800's after the first industrial revolution.  So that shows that it is a very plausible place an time, but thats when you notice the impossible.
