The Plausible impossible
In the world of animation, there is the power to make impossible things seem very plausible. This affect is achieved by taking real world scenes and possibly scenarios and then applying unreal scenarios to them. I will explain this by using the The Mountain, by Disney studios. In this film it takes a plausible scene, such as a mountain town, and adds a very impossible theme such as gouls.
In the next scene you can observe the plausible first, which is the night evening with a gentle breeze, which is likely as well as realistic. Then you can notice the ghosts riding what appears to be appirations of a boar and buffalo, which is extremely unlikely. I mean the blaring ghosts are unlikely, but going deeper, riding either of this animals would be extremely difficult and unlikely.
With this scene the possible things are the mountain as well as the night sky. It was common in the 1800's to find towns near mountains in order to have running water. When it came to after the industrial revolution, they needed it to power a multitude of thongs until steam engines came into play. Which I doubt this town would have one due to cost. This brings me to the impossible fact of the Demon, possibly even devil busting out from the top of the mountain. That is impossible for a multitude of obvious reasons. Plus the anatomical structure of the wings are unrealistic being reminiscent of those of a dragon, which never existed.
In this scene you notice two things that are plausible. First the fire is very plausible, as well as the smoke. But then you notice the blaring impossible. First the fact that the fire is in fact people, and not just people, dancing people. As well as the fact that this is all taking place within the demons hand.
In this scene you notice one blaring thing first. The noose. The noose shows that this scene is taking place in around the 1800's and based upon the town itself it is the late 1800's after the first industrial revolution. So that shows that it is a very plausible place an time, but thats when you notice the impossible. The ghosts flying around in the scene are not realistic at all.

Finally in the final scene you can notice the plausible things. You notice the mountains which are plausible,a s well as the sunrise and nice whips clouds. For the impossible you notice the demon turning into a mountain which is impossible and completely unusual, especially if he has so much power why would he need to hide in the day. Why not take over the human race? Well it hints that a godlike force is stopping him when the light is shown, so maybe thats why.
