Professional Project Review Post

There are many talented people in the world who tend to make their work visible to the public. My task for this blog was to find one of these people and take what they are working on and review it. For this blog in particular I have chosen Vlad Konstantinos as my subject.  He does a lot of great 3D work, but I am focusing on his Gorgosaurus 3D model.
The scope/ explanation of this project is pretty self explanatory, It is really a model of a Gorgosaurus, now there is some interesting things about the model though. It is very well done with a high attention to detail, plus the dinosaur has battle wounds that are very well done and anatomically calculated. In his post, which can be found here, he shows the beast in multiple colored forms also. He shows it in a sort of green/ grey coloration, as well as a red/ grey coloration. He also has the model form of it without any color added. All in all it is truly an amazing project with attention to detail. National geographic used it in a TV series, so he got definite recognition for it.
This model not only is amazing but it also tells a story. It tells the story of a Gorgosaurus who worked so hard to make it through childhood in an era where surviving was extremely difficult, and only the strong survived. This beast was strong enough to make it through and became one of the top predators, but he got into a scuffle with another living fossil and got the short end of the stick in a battle, sustaining injuries such as a broken leg and flesh wounds, but escaped with his life. Unfortunately in this age, having a broken leg and open wounds like that is a death sentence due to preditation, as well as infection.
There is a lot of aspects used in this project that I have used, but there isa also lots of aspects that I have yet to learn, and am looking forward to it.
Overall it is a great piece and I really don't have any critique. Go check it out and the rest of his work at the hyperlink previously mentioned.
