Project(animation)
In exploring animation we have been working on animations that were supposed to have three scenes, a walk cycle and more, and it is supposed to be able to tell a story. Now I started with a story board, and I accidentally threw it away during cleaning, so I will just have to explain it to you. In my first panel I had a knight who is running towards a cave. He then arrives at the cave and enters it. After he enters it a Dragon rises up and then blows fire. The scene then cuts to black and the knight is leaving the cave with gold in a bag heading home. Now in the final it did change image wise, but it was for the better, as the dragon has a better feel than the one in the story board. After I had finished the story board I worked on images. Some of the images aren't finished because the finals are on a flash drive at home.
Then I have the dragon, but he is only wireframe because the final is on the drive. His head and neck are the only separate parts.
Next is the landscape and cave, unfinished because the finals are on a drive, but each layer is movable in the landscape and only the stalagmites are movable in the cave.

Once I got the images done, the rest was pretty easy. I did have some problems along the way with the walk cycle so he seems to sort of gallop, but I had to redo it six times and it was due so when I redo it I will have to fix it. When I moved the images from photoshop to after effects, it allowed me to move them easily and such which really helped, so I didn't have to remake each frame by hand. I also put it into premier pro to put the scenes together as well as add sound.
Im happy with how it turned out but it could be better art and better mechanics, if I had more time I could make something better, but for the time I had, i like it and enjoy it. I will use my experience of walk cycles now towards my next project.
Overall I'm happy with how it turned out, but I can't wait to do a new one so I can use some of my refined skills as well as do more appeasing art.
